How to reach us in summer
In summer, there are two ways to get to Frutt Mountain Resort: by cable car, where you can enjoy magnificent views of the green mountains, or by car along an exciting mountain road (no arrival option is included in the room rate).
FIRST ALTERNATIVE: ARRIVAL BY GONDOLA
(for arrival by car please scroll down)
Cable car tickets can be booked with us for CHF 30.00 per adult (children up to 16 years are free of charge) and include arrival, departure and luggage transport. As an alternative, they can be directly purchased at the valley station.
1. Arrive at the valley station of the Stöckalp gondola

2. Leave your car at the parking
Indoor Parking at Stöckalp: A garage parking space costs CHF 12 per day. Parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance and are subject to availability. Floor B is designated for hotel guests.
Outdoor Parking is free of charge.
3. Unload your luggage at the luggage drop-off (if required)
On the left hand side of the valley station, you will find the luggage drop-off.
4. Take the gondola
Timetable Gondola Summer Season
Monday to Friday: 08:25 - 12:20 and 13:20 - 17:20 (continuous operation in case of busy frequency)
Saturday to Sunday and public holidays: 08:25 - 12:20 and 13:20 - 17:20 as well as one descent at 17:50 (continuous operation in case of busy frequency).
Please consider the following points for the luggage transport:
- Daily until 17:00 by the Sportbahnen Melchsee-Frutt. If you arrive after 17:00, the luggage must be taken independently in the gondola.
- 60-120 min transport time. For items which are needed immediately in the hotel we recommend to transport them independently in the gondola.
- The hotel is not responsible for any damage or loss of transported items.
- Luggage can be collected from the valley station until 17:30 on the day of departure.
5. Check-in at Lago Lodge or Mountain Lodge
Option 1: Mountain station - Mountain Lodge reception
When you arrive at the mountain station, go through the main exit to the left. Follow the path
on the ski slope for about 250 metres. Straight ahead you will see the hotel and the entrance to the reception.
Option 2: Mountain station - Lago Lodge reception
When you arrive at the mountain station, turn right and proceed Through the turnstile. You will
see a sign „old mountain station“ and „hotel“ - please follow this sign. Take the elevator down and follow the tunnel (underpass) – to reach the „old mountain station“. From the exit of the "Alte Bergstation" (Old Mountain Station), you can already see the large buildings of the Lago Lodge on the right side.

Stöckalp Valley Station: left side is the complimentary parking lot and luggage service, on the right is the mountain road up to Frutt with the barriers, where the entry ticket will be handed over.
SECOND ALTERNATIVE: ARRIVAL BY CAR
1. Mountain road Stöckalp
The single-lane mountain road from Stöckalp to Melchsee-Frutt is open uphill in summer during the „even“ hours (e.g. 8:00-8:40 and downhill from Melchsee-Frutt during the „odd“ hours (e.g. 11:00-11:40). Please note the barriers close 40 minutes after each full hour (e.g. 8:40 or 11:40).
Mountain road fees:
- Up to 24 hours - CHF 25
- Each additional day - CHF 5
Your ticket will be issued automatically when entering the mountain road at the gate.
2. Unload your luggage at Mountain or Lago Lodge
In order to protect the nature of Melchsee-Frutt, the plateau is a car-free zone. You have the possibility to load and unload your luggage at the hotel and park afterwards at the parking lot Dempfelsmatt.
3. Dempfelsmatt parking lot (free of charge)
The parking lot is about 500 metres from the Frutt Mountain Resort and easily accessible by foot. After your luggage drop off at the hotel, we kindly ask you to park the car at the Dempfelsmatt parking lot. Please note that there will be a fine for incorrect parking.
